There’s no such thing as “work ethics.” Whenever people say the words the problem can be refined.
Nobody wakes up every morning to decide, “I wanna do a bad job today.” They do a bad job because they don’t know how to do better.
Maybe they don’t have the resources to learn. It could be limited time, not enough information as a pointer, or there are just not enough information, period, because the subject or tool is not popular or is just too new.
Maybe they don’t know what to learn or even what keywords to Google.
Maybe their brains can’t sustain such learning, much like a computer with an overheated CPU or one running of out RAM.
So there’s no such thing as “work ethics.” Next time instead of criticizing people of their work ethics, be more specific and you may actually be able to help someone.
